To better reflect that the scope of the DSL Forum extend beyond DSL technologies, it has been decided to change the name to The Broadband Forum. Today the technical recommendations from The Broadband Forum cover technologies such as (E/G)PON, wireless, femtocell, as well as the traditional xDSL.
